Playstation 5 2 Years On, Was It Worth The Hype
Now the hype has finally died down and your able to get your mitts on the most desirable console to date was all the fuss worth it?
When first launched the playstation 5 was an eye water £479 for the disk version and £389 for the digital model. Wowzers that’s alot of money to part was with in one hit. However you would of been one of the lucky ones to pick it up on release date as they sold quicker than final reductions at your local supermarket. Below is the list of games at launch which Sony let their customers take advantage of.

As you can see the list was very underwhelming. Most AAA titles were games simply upgrading from their ps4 version. Original games such as Astro’s Playroom simply couldn’t show off what was under this power horses hood. With its powerful CPU, ability to upscale to 4k and the AMD Radeon RDNA 2-based graphics engine it was easy to see why this console was branded ‘NEXT-GEN’. Graphically the games you play on this mammoth are beautiful it almost feels as if your watching a movie.
With its unique display mirroring skyscrapers in Dubai the PlayStation 5 looked like what dreams are made of. A design of this quality would certainly give your home a more futuristic and current feel, its no wonder why the public went nuts and wanted to get their hands on one.
Like most consoles it takes developers some time to get to grips with the engine. Just like it’s earlier models (Playstation 3 & 4) the real titles came after some time such as The last of us. As we see below future of the Ps5 is something to be excited about in terms of gaming and entertainment.

Visionary these games look insane and the PlayStation 5 will only get better. Usually games consoles life span is around 5-7 years so if your thinking of picking up a Ps5 just DO IT. You will not regret your choice and have years of fun.
