Dolu Kids 3 In 1 Water and Sand Pit Review

It's that time of year again, and the glorious British sunshine has finally come out to play. With inflatable swimming pool sales skyrocketing, if you simply don’t have the space in your backyard, then we are here to look for an alternative. With many free-standing water tables on the market, we decided to opt for a budget version that has all the essentials. After searching the Internet far and wide from your regular toy retailers like Smyths and The Entertainer, we came across the Dolu Kids 3 in 1 Water and Sand Pit at a reasonable price ranging between £39.99-£45.99. Once again, Amazon seems to be the cheapest, along with eBay. This product is compatible with both sand and water, which for us was a major selling point.

Whats In The Box?

With two colours to choose from as the main table piece (red or blue), this product would look good in anyone’s garden.

OUR EXPERIENCE

As previously indicated in our earlier reviews, the toys we mention are primarily purchased for the entertainment of our two-year-old son, and this item was no exception. On first glance, the results were excellent. The table felt sturdy, the bright colours were enticing to children, and the construction was simple. Simply attach the three legs to the centre piece table, then clip on the water tower, and lastly, push the water sliders into the included cut-out plastic holes. Because our son enjoys bath time and adventures in the swimming pool, we knew the water element would be used frequently. When the other side was filled with sand (which must be purchased separately), he remained uninterested and continued to explore the wetter choice.  If you are a parent, then you understand that this isn’t a bad factor because sand gets everywhere. If kinetic sand was sold more cheaply in bulk, I’m pretty sure parents would be more inclined to store it in the product as a tidier alternative. The Dolu 3 in 1 is marketed as a sensory toy, and it performs exactly what it says on the box. Our youngster rapidly grasped that water is poured into the top and will trickle down to the bottom. The product's durability must now be highlighted. The water and sand pit is normally positioned outside the front of our house because that is where the sun shines the most. Children from the street would swarm around the merchandise, often in groups of up to eight. The table has stood its ground on numerous occasions, and not a single section has been harmed, indicating that the design has been properly thought out by its development team to sustain heavy-handed children. The added is bonus is that the table can convert into a simple activity unity for your child to enjoy and get crafty inside.
