Tiger ACG4 Review, Is This The Perfect Start-Up Guitar

Ever wondered what’s the best way to start learning guitar?

The first objective is to purchase a reliable, budget friendly,  and most importantly great sounding piece of kit. Producing a pitch perfect sound at a extremely low cost the Tiger ACG4 is the one you’ve been looking for and does all of the above.

The ACG4 as you can see (below) like many guitars on the market today has been designed with a sleek cutaway body making it more accessible to reach the bottom frets for all the advanced players. Made from  durable linden wood this specific product makes you feel like you’ve grabbed a bargain as well as a high end product. Only weighing in at around 2.6 kilograms this guitar is suitable for any adult. With a variety of colors to choose from such as White, Blue, Black, Natural, Red and Sunburst u will need to pick wisely because we can guarantee, once you start playing this gem you won’t want to change guitar for the foreseeable future. The ACG4 can suit any playing scenarios; Whether its playing acoustically or jacked up to the amp with the built in electro acoustic feature.

What does electro acoustic mean?

When the product states it has the electro acoustic feature this purely means that the item can be connected to an amp for an enhanced sound. You won’t find many guitars with this feature around this price mark which when ordering from amazon (link below) you also receive a gig bag, Strap, picks and a bonus set of strings.

Having got our hands on the ACG4 we were really impressed. I’ve been playing guitar for around 10 years,  nothing to complex just your usual chords to pop songs. Every early guitarist will be encouraged to learn chords as this is the main goal for an acoustic guitar. The strings have a great sound and the fret board is smooth making it easy to navigate. If your at the Eric Clapton stage of your guitar journey and can play anything this guitar may not be for you although I’m sure you wouldn’t be disappointed with the sound. The only downside is this beast dosent come with a built in tuner but these can be purchased for a very low cost on Amazon, we would recommend the design that clips on top of the guitar neck such as the Alfresco Guitar Tuner Clip. If you want to mimic Ed Sheeran you can also buy the Tiger ¾ length guitars (the size Ed usually uses) for an even cheaper price at £80. With feedback from other users we heard there was problems at times with the top E string sounding tangy however this was just a certain batch of guitars that were made and since then quality control has remedied the situation.

All in all

Move aside Fender and Gibson because for a mere £110 the Tiger ACG4 can be in any wannabe guitarists hand 'tomorrow' from Amazon prime. The guitar gets the job done and we have had no problems with it over a years period. Although its not going to be the one the experts choose it certainly ticks all the boxes for the beginner market.
